Job summary

The Bedford College Group is hiring eight Learning Support Practitioners to join the Foundation Learning and ALS team across Tresham College multi-site in Northamptonshire. The role focuses on personalised learner support, collaboration with teachers, and safeguarding within a dynamic college environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 Learning Support qualification with English and maths at GCSE/Functional Skills Level 2, and have proven SEND experience.

Qualifications

• Proven SEND support experience in FE/multi-agency settings
• Strong inclusive practice to promote learner independence
• Calm, adaptable approach with clear recording using MS Office
• Commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing and CPD in SEND contexts

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised learner support to remove barriers to learning
• Collaborate with teachers and ALS staff for differentiation
• Monitor progress and document impact for EHCPs and reviews
• Engage with parents, therapists and external professionals
• Uphold safeguarding and promote inclusive practices across sites
