Job description
Potential Shifts and Pay Rates:

Day Shift: Pay rate: $22.50/hr

- Front Half Days, Sun-Tues: 5:30am-5:30pm (36 hours/week)

- Back Half Days, Wed-Sat: 6am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week)

Night Shift: Pay rate: $22.50/hr

- Front Half Nights, Sun-Wed, 6 pm to 4:30 am (40 hours/week) +$1.50 shift differential

- Back Half Nights, Thurs-Sat 5pm to 5am (36 hours/week)+$2.50 shift differential

Purpose

Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
  • Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
  • Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift

  • Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
Essential Functions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up to twelve (12) hours/day
  • able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet
  • able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
  • required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
  • occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
  • Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
