Job summary

Mountain Healthcare is seeking a GMC-registered Doctor to join our Sexual Offence Examiner team, supporting victims in SARC settings across paediatric and adult services. The role includes forensic examinations, multidisciplinary collaboration with police, and an educational path with mentorship.

We offer a pro rata salary of £83,720–£96,137 for 32 hours per week, with funded training, DBS and indemnity support, and travel reimbursement. A UK driving licence and residency in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered Doctor with clinical experience in sexual health, paediatrics or gynaecology/obs- gynae.
• Minimum 3 years+ relevant post Foundation experience.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children and adults.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
• UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Medical indemnity by start date required.
• Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting required.

Responsibilities

• Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
• Develop forensic strategies in line with FFLM guidelines.
• Collaborate with external MDTs and police on referrals.
• Be point of contact for Police and Social Services regarding referrals.
• Conduct holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
• Support quality improvement across the service.
• Work under Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
• Obtain consent for health and forensic procedures.
