Job summary
Mountain Healthcare is seeking a GMC-registered Doctor to join the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) team. The role covers paediatric and adult services with some travel between bases. 24 hours per week (part-time) with shifts from 9am to 9pm and 9am-5pm on weekdays.
Training and career development are supported, including funding for membership exams and ongoing appraisal tools. Willow Tree CYP SARC base is the primary location with additional clinics across the region.
Qualifications
- GMC-registered doctor with relevant post-foundation experience.
- Experience in Sexual health, Paediatrics, GP or Obs/Gyn.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Perform forensic examinations and obtain forensic exhibits.
- Develop forensic strategies per FFLM guidelines.
- Collaborate with external MDTs and Police.
- Serve as point of contact for Police and Social Services on referrals.
- Conduct holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health and safeguarding.
- Support continuous quality improvement of the service.
- Work under Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
- Obtain consent for Health and Forensic procedures.
