Job summary

Mountain Healthcare Limited is recruiting a GMC-registered Doctor to support both paediatric and adult Sexual Assault Referral Centres. The role includes forensic examinations, safeguarding, and working with police and social services. A structured education pathway with mentor support and funded exams is provided.

There is a strong focus on trauma-informed care with opportunities for research, teaching, and development. Travel for training days is required and expenses are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered Doctor.
• A minimum of 3 years+ relevant post Foundation experience.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children and adults.
• Confidentiality knowledge and practice.
• Experience in Sexual health, Paediatrics, GP or Obs/Gynae.
• UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Advanced DBS and Level 2 Police vetting; residency in the UK for 3 years.
• Medical Indemnity by start date.

Responsibilities

• Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
• Develop forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
• Work with external MDTs and Police.
• Be point of contact for Police and Social Services on referrals.
• Undertake holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, safeguarding.
• Support ongoing quality improvement of the service.
• Work under the Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
• Obtain consent for health and forensic procedures.
