Job summary
Mountain Healthcare is seeking a GMC-registered Doctor to join its Sexual Assault Referral Centre team, covering both paediatric and adult services with some travel. The role includes the opportunity to learn through clinical placements and blended learning, with dedicated mentoring and financial support for education.
The post offers a FTE salary in the range £83,720–£96,137 (pro rata) with a 32-hour week, based in LS27 7LE (and travel as required).
Qualifications
- GMC-registered Doctor.
- Minimum 3 years plus relevant post Foundation experience.
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and adults.
- Knowledge of confidentiality obligations.
- Experience in Sexual health, Paediatrics, GP or Obs/Gynae.
- UK driving licence is required and access to a vehicle.
- Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting required (residency 3 years in UK).
- Medical Indemnity by start date is required.
Responsibilities
- Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
- Develop forensic strategies following FFLM guidelines.
- Collaborate with external MDTs and Police.
- Act as point of contact for Police and Social Services regarding referrals.
- Conduct holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
- Support quality improvement across the service.
- Work under Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
- Obtain consent for health and forensic procedures.
