Job summary
Mountain Healthcare is seeking a GMC-registered Doctor to join the Sexual Offence Examiner team, providing clinical care to victims of sexual assault across paediatric and adult services. Qualifications
- GMC-registered Doctor with full registration.
- Minimum 3 years post-foundation experience in relevant areas.
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and adults.
- Knowledge of confidentiality and data handling.
- Experience in Sexual health, Paediatrics, GP or Obs/Gynae settings.
- UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Advanced DBS and Level 2 Police vetting with UK residency 3+ years.
- Medical Indemnity required from start date.
Responsibilities
- Forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
- Develop forensic strategies according to FFLM guidelines.
- Work in partnership with external MDTs and Police.
- Be the point of contact for Police and Social Services on referrals.
- Undertake holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health and safeguarding.
- Support ongoing quality improvement of the service.
- Comply with Forensic Science Regulator requirements.
- Obtain consent for health and forensic procedures.
