Job summary

Henderson Foodservice, part of the Henderson Group, is seeking a Team Leader for the Backshift in Newtownabbey. You will lead the Frozen and Dry Warehouse teams, drive daily targets, and support quality control and safety compliance in a hands-on role.

The role emphasizes teamwork, operational excellence and strong leadership to maintain high standards across operations, logistics and customer service with a 38-hour week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse picking environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate resources to maximise efficiency and meet daily targets.
• Oversee forklift drivers and maximise efficiency.
• Supervise outbound processes including picking, loading and inspection, ensuring accuracy and organisation.
• Ensure stock management systems are followed and stock integrity is maintained.
• Liaise with Transport, Sales and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers and ensure safety compliance.
