Job summary

Henderson Brown Recruitment is partnering with a growing food sector business to recruit an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager. You will lead and coach a frontline team, ensuring goods are received and dispatched on time, while driving KPI delivery and cost control.

You will analyse performance, manage labour, drive continuous improvement and ensure HACCP compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a warehouse environment, strong leadership, and WMS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse industry (FMCG/food/manufacturing preferred).
• Proven leadership with strong KPI delivery.
• Excellent communication; able to coach and develop a team.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, labour planning, productivity management and cost control.
• Experience in continuous improvement and driving operational efficiency.
• Good knowledge of health and safety procedures, HACCP, audits and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to meet KPIs and control costs.
• Ensure goods are received and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Analyse performance, manage labour requirements and implement efficiency strategies.
• Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and HACCP/audit compliance.
• Foster a positive culture, accountability and alignment with company values.
