Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager for night shifts to lead our night operation, ensuring safe, efficient performance and service excellence for our customers.

You’ll coach and develop team members, manage workloads, monitor KPI data, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture. You’ll work closely with Warehouse, Transport and Operational teams to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in warehouse/logistics or operational environments.
• Proven ability to develop and motivate people.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience using performance measures and KPIs.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good IT skills and experience with operational systems.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
• Strong focus on safety, service and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing a warehouse team to achieve targets.
• Monitoring performance and using KPI data to drive improvement.
• Allocating workloads to drive productivity and ensure targets are met.
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Managing recruitment, absence, performance, conduct and development.
• Leading team briefings and communicating key updates.
• Investigating issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborating with Warehouse, Transport and Operations teams to deliver service.
• Managing resources, equipment and warehouse assets effectively.
