Sainsbury’s is seeking a capable Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach teams to deliver high standards, and ensure optimal customer service in a fast-paced food hall environment.

You’ll drive KPI performance, manage people, and ensure compliance with processes while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and product availability. The role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to run the store when needed.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others to raise standards.
• Experience leading teams in busy, customer-facing environments.
• Ability to manage KPI delivery across sales, stock, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience handling disciplinary matters and performance management.
• Ability to run store operations and provide direction in absence of senior management.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes while delivering excellent customer service.
• Ensure customers get the food they want when shopping with us.
• People management including performance, discipline, scheduling and pay accuracy.
• Occasionally assume overall responsibility for running the store.
