Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a store food manager to lead and motivate teams, uphold high standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will drive daily operations, ensure compliance, and manage performance across colleagues to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others to raise the bar.
• Leadership of teams in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Proven success delivering against KPIs across sales, stock, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience managing performance, absence, and employee relations with fairness.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Manage compliance to processes while maintaining passion for shop keeping and service.
• Ensure customers get the food they want when shopping with us to be the first choice for food.
• Oversee people management including performance, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay.
