Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a high-volume food hall, coaching teams to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence. You will drive standards, oversee compliance, and ensure the store runs smoothly with accurate scheduling and payroll.

A proven ability to motivate staff, meet KPIs and resolve issues daily is essential. Salary depends on experience and store size, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching teams to raise standards.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, customer-facing environments such as retail or hospitality.
• Strong ability to meet KPIs across sales, stock, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes whilst driving shopkeeping and customer service.
• Ensure customers get the food they want and maintain first-choice status for food.
• People management including performance, disciplinary, scheduling and pay accuracy.
• Often take overall responsibility for running the store with clear direction for colleagues.
