Job Purpose

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor you will supervise your team to ensure the delivery of optimal productivity, customer experience and income performance. Ensuring the team provides a warm, friendly and efficient food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained at all times in line with our guest expectations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily F&B service (restaurant, bar, room service, banquet, etc.)
  • Ensure service runs smoothly and meets hotel standards
  • Oversee opening/closing procedures
  • Assign tasks and sections to service staff
  • Monitor guest flow and adjust staffing when needed
  • Train, guide, and motivate F&B staff
  • Supervise staff performance
  • Prepare duty rosters and break schedules
  • Conduct pre‑shift briefings and meetings
  • Ensure staff follow grooming and uniform standards
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Welcome and interact with guests professionally
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Collect feedback and suggest improvements
  • Support VIP and special guest arrangements
  • Ensure food and beverages are served according to standards
  • Check presentation, portioning, and temperature of dishes
  • Ensure cleanliness of dining areas, equipment, and workstations
  • Monitor and minimise waste
  • Ensure tables and service areas are well organised
  • Assist in monitoring inventory and stock levels
  • Report low stock and coordinate with management for ordering
