Job summary

Forbes of Kingennie is seeking a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to lead the Bar, Restaurant and Events teams, ensuring top-tier guest experiences in a busy hospitality environment near Dundee.

You will work closely with the F&B Manager and Deputy Manager to oversee shifts, maintain service standards, and drive customer satisfaction, repeat business and a positive working culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.
• Good understanding of budget management and cost control.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
• A proactive, positive and solution-focused approach to problem solving.

• Support the Food & Beverage Manager and Deputy Manager with the smooth running of daily operations and shift management.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining excellent service standards across the Bar, Restaurant and Events areas.
• Build positive relationships across the business and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Support effective budget management and cost control to help achieve financial objectives.
• Take a hands-on approach to resolving issues, supporting the team and ensuring operational standards are maintained.

At Forbes of Kingennie, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences across our Bar, Restaurant and Events areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join our Food & Beverage team and play a key role in leading a high-performing team within our busy and fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the F&B Manager and F&B Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth and successful operation of each shift, delivering outstanding service standards and creating memorable experiences for our guests. With a passion for hospitality and a natural ability to lead and motivate others, you will help drive customer satisfaction, encourage repeat business and ensure every guest receives the excellent service they expect.
