Forbes of Kingennie, a stunning resort near Dundee, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain spotless lodges and facilities for guests.

You will work to daily schedules, prepare bedding, restock supplies, and coordinate with other teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Prior housekeeping experience and pride in high standards are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and service lodges to a high standard.
• Follow daily arrival/departure schedules to prioritise lodge cleaning.
• Prepare laundry bags with bedding and towels.
• Restock guest supplies (toilet roll, soap, etc.).
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Use cleaning materials safely.
• Maintain good communication with other departments.
• Handle cleaning-related complaints professionally.
• Be flexible and assist with other duties when needed.

Situated near Dundee in the heart of Angus, our resort is surrounded by stunning scenery and serves as an ideal base for exploring Scotland. The Role

We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will help ensure our lodges and resort facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every guest.

This role would particularly suit:

• Experienced cleaners or housekeepers
• Self-employed cleaners seeking regular, dependable hours
• Individuals who take genuine pride in high standards and attention to detail

Your work will directly impact our guests’ experience — and we truly value the professionalism and reliability that experienced cleaners bring.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service lodges to a high standard
• Work to daily arrival/departure lists to prioritise lodge cleaning

• Report maintenance issues, faults, and damages promptly
• Use and store cleaning materials safely
• Maintain good communication with other departments

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 1 year of cleaning/housekeeping experience (preferred)
• Be reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively
• Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
