Away Resorts is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Leader for Piperdam Leisure Resort, Dundee. This fixed-term, full-time role requires evenings and weekends, with a starting pay of £13.05 per hour, paid weekly. You will lead F&B operations across bars and restaurants, ensuring excellent guest service.

You'll manage rosters, drive revenue through upselling, and oversee stock, wastage and costs in collaboration with FOH and kitchen teams. Bank holidays and weekends are included in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced F&B environment.
• Experience of driving revenue and upselling.
• Problem solver with calm handling of issues.
• Champion of customer service with proven success.
• Level 2 hygiene certificate preferred; training on site can be provided.

Responsabilités

• Serve guests, clear tables, and lead the team during service.

Food and Beverage Team Leader

Location: Piperdam Leisure Resort, Dundee, DD2 5LP, Nr Birkhill

Hours: Variable Hours, Fixed Term Contract - Full Time - Evenings and Weekends required.

Remuneration: £13.05 per hour - paid weekly!

Must be 18+ due to licensing laws

What we need in nutshell:

We need someone who understands that food and drink are central to a happy holiday. Someone who can look after our guests' every whim when they eat, drink and relax in our bars and restaurants.

What you'll be doing

• Being at the heart of the action, serving customers, clearing tables, solving problems and leading your team
• Managing rotas so that we always have the right level of cover.
• Identifying and sharing best practice with team, including upselling effectively
• Helping to control margins by working alongside the FOH and kitchen teams to control food stock, minimise wastage and manage cleaning and other costs sensibly.
• Dealing with customer complaints and managing performance within your team
• Helping to build a motivated team of F&B assistants who take pride in delivering delight, even when we're exceptionally busy.

One more thing...holidays happen at holiday times, so you'll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you'll need

If you feel you have the ability to lead a team with confidence in a busy environment and you can tick the following boxes, we want to hear from you:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced and busy F&B environment
• Experience of driving revenue - we can help you with training.
• A problem solver who can manage difficult situations well.
• A champion in delivering excellence in customer service with evidence of previous successes.
• Preferably a level 2 hygiene certificate but this is not a deal breaker as we can do this training on site.

It's the icing on the cake if you have specific experience on a holiday park, but don't worry if you don't, we provide lots of training.
