Job summary

Forbes of Kingennie in Dundee is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our on-site restaurant team. This role offers part-time hours with flexible shifts in a friendly, high‑standard kitchen environment.

You’ll help with basic food preparation, maintain cleanliness, restock supplies, and support colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operation while following health and safety practices. Previous experience is not essential; full training is provided.

Due to our countryside location, there is NO public transport to or from the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, cutting, peeling, and washing ingredients
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and floors
• Supporting the team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently at all times
• Monitoring and replenishing stock levels of cleaning products and supplies
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including the safe use of equipment and compliance with safe systems of work
• Occasionally interacting with guests and colleagues, helping to maintain a positive and professional environment

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
