MPJ Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a First Notification of Loss (FNOL) Claims Handler in Manchester City Centre. You will be the first point of contact for customers after road traffic accidents, gathering details and explaining the claims process to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

This office-based role offers £28,750.02 base salary with uncapped monthly commission and realistic OTE of £45,000, with top performers earning well above that.

Qualifications

• Experience in FNOL, motor claims, insurance, accident management or similar customer-focused role
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Calm, empathetic and professional telephone manner
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to build rapport quickly and take ownership of interactions
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound FNOL calls from customers after road traffic accidents
• Gather accurate incident details and record all claim information
• Assess liability and determine next steps per procedures
• Explain the claims process clearly and professionally
• Arrange accident management services including recovery, repairs, and replacements
• Keep customers informed during early claim stages
• Coordinate with internal teams and providers to progress claims
• Deliver high customer service and meet individual targets
• Identify opportunities to maximise customer outcomes and support team success
