Bestway Wholesale Limited is seeking a Category Manager to drive category plans that maximise sales and profit for Bestway Retail and our retailers. The role covers ranging, pricing, strategy, supplier management, and promotional planning, with mentorship of Category Assistants.

The successful candidate will lead category strategy, negotiate income from suppliers for media promotions, manage ranges and own-brand balance, and coordinate seasonal promotions across the supply base and internal

Qualifications

• Significant FMCG wholesale or retail experience, especially in Buying, Sales or Category Management.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships using influencing skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience delivering category strategies and promotional plans.
• Numeracy with experience analyzing performance and market data.
• Problem solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Deliver category plans that maximise sales and profit for Bestway Retail and retailers.
• Develop category strategy including ranging, pricing, supplier management, and promotions.
• Mentor Category Assistants and oversee category activities.
• Manage supplier relationships to generate Joint Business Plans and media promotional income.
• Range and price products in line with pricing policy and business strategy.
• Plan and execute seasonal promotions and corporate initiatives with supply base and internal teams.
