Bestway Wholesale Limited is seeking a Category Manager to lead category plans that maximise sales and profit for Bestway Retail and retailers. The role covers ranging, pricing strategy, supplier management and promotional planning, with responsibility for mentoring Category Assistants.

The candidate will drive category strategy, manage promotions with suppliers, and ensure accurate ranging and pricing in line with policy.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in FMCG Wholesale or Retail (Buying, Sales or Category Management).
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a commercial mindset.
• Tenacity, determination and assertiveness to achieve commercially successful outcomes.
• Ability to build relationships internally and externally and manage stakeholder expectations.

Aufgaben

• Deliver category plans that maximise sales and profit for Bestway Retail and retailers.
• Develop category strategy, range, pricing and promotional plans.
• Manage supplier relationships and Joint Business Plans.
• Oversee Category Assistants and ensure timely admin for the category.
• Analyse promotional effectiveness and forecasts for product categories.
