Job summary

JD Sports Fashion PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Floor Manager to drive strong shop-floor performance and deliver exceptional customer service. You will lead and develop colleagues, ensure high standards, and support opening and closing procedures to keep the store running smoothly.

Working closely with the management team, you will boost sales, manage merchandising and customer engagement, and uphold visual standards while maintaining a clean, organised store environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with proven experience supporting and developing team members.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high operational and visual standards.
• Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of how daily actions contribute to store KPIs and performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service standards, ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and professional support.
• Drive commercial performance through effective shop-floor execution, including merchandising, replenishment, and motivating the team.
• Lead and develop colleagues to maintain high performance, strong engagement, and consistent adherence to company policies and processes.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organised shop-floor environment.
