Job summary

TeacherActive in Mansfield is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND at a local school. Start ASAP. Salary is £92.63–£100 per day, paid PAYE, offering reliable onboarding and ongoing support.

You will work with students aged 16–25 across day-to-day bookings, delivering individual and group support to access education and engage positively in class, with opportunities to develop through CPD and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid DBS, or be willing to obtain the appropriate checks.
• Experience supporting children, young people or adults with SEND.
• Confidence working with students aged 16-25 with a variety of additional needs.
• A patient and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A flexible and adaptable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support across day-to-day bookings at the school.
• Work closely with students and staff to provide individual and group support.
• Help learners with SEND access their education and engage positively within the school environment.
