TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support learners in a Mansfield-based SEND setting. You will assist across age groups, help meet individual needs, and promote engagement in learning with a calm, nurturing approach.

This role requires experience with children or young people with SEND, particularly autism, plus patience and strong teamwork. Onsite position with opportunities for CPD and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, especially autism.
• Strong behaviour management and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, nurturing approach to support individual learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students across a range of age groups, helping to meet individual needs.
• Manage behaviour and promote engagement in learning within a specialist SEND setting.
