Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant in Mansfield to support students with SEND. The role involves assisting across daily bookings, delivering individual and group support, and helping learners access education while engaging positively within the school environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff, have a valid DBS or willingness to obtain one, and demonstrate patience, resilience, and strong teamwork. On offer are market-rate pay and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• DBS check or willingness to obtain
• Experience supporting children, young people or adults with SEND
• Confidence working with students aged 16-25 with additional needs
• Patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and adaptable attitude
