Job summary
RAC is seeking a Superflex Roadside Patrol technician to deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform repairs and help members continue their journeys safely, with flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
Role requires NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or 5+ years as a Technician) and a full UK driving licence. Expect 40-hour average weeks and potential additional shifts for higher earnings; London
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
- or
- 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
- and
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults and provide expert roadside repair and diagnostics.
- Deliver emergency breakdown support across the UK with quick, confident solutions.
- Work independently to diagnose faults, solve problems and keep members moving.
- Shift pattern includes days, evenings, weekends and peak demand periods; roster confirmed ahead.
