Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide excellent customer service, help stock shelves, process payments and maintain the store's appearance.

As the customer remains at the heart of our operations, you will continually seek ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback, contributing to a safe and welcoming store for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety rules.
• Willingness to participate in community events and represent the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and product queries.
• Operate tills and process payments accurately.
• Stock shelves and maintain store appearance.
• Assist with online orders and replenishment activities.
• Follow health and safety procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
• Support the Shift Leader and Store Manager during shifts.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and upsell where appropriate.
• Be aware of safeguarding and security protocols when handling age-restricted items.
