Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced retail team. You will engage with customers, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain store appearance to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

You will be part of a team that puts customers first, supports flexible working, and participates in community initiatives while upholding our values and procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail preferred.
• Able to handle payments accurately.
• Comfortable stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Know my customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Encourage feedback from customers through surveys.
• Work across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines.
• Follow training to work safely and effectively.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events.
• Understand store performance and what we need to do to deliver profit.
• Follow company policies and be welcoming to everyone.
• Clock in/out accurately to ensure correct pay.
• Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment when required.
• Follow the Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
• Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts.
• Keep aisles clear and maintain a clean, organized shop.
• May run shifts in absence of Shift Leader/Store Manager.
• Follow all training to keep yourself and others safe and compliant.
• If post office Local present, may require background checks.
