Job summary

One Stop is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments and help maintain the store’s appearance.

As the customer remains central, you’ll continually seek ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback. Your guidance helps keep the store safe for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a fast-paced retail environment is valuable.
• Ability to stock shelves and assist with payments.
• Willingness to learn store procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Know customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Encourage customer feedback through surveys.
• Assist across store areas including online, tills, replenishment, and stock routines.
• Practice training to work safely.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events.
• Understand store performance and contribute to profit.
• Follow company values and policies.
• Clock in/out accurately to ensure paid hours.
• Follow safety procedures with protective equipment as required.
• Adhere to Think 25 policy for age-restricted products.
• Respond promptly to assistance calls on self-checkouts.
• Keep aisles clear and maintain a clean, organized store.
• May run a shift in absence of Shift Leader or Store Manager.
• Complete training to ensure safety and legality.
