N Family Club is seeking a Flexi Kitchen Assistant for our Tunbridge Wells nursery. You will assist in running our kitchen, preparing fresh meals for children, and supporting the chef to deliver nutritious, kid-friendly menus.

Join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art kitchen, with flexible hours and strong focus on safety, nutrition, and teamwork. Prior nursery or commercial kitchen experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial or nursery kitchen is required.
• Knowledge of allergens and child nutrition is important.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cooking fresh meals for nursery children.
• Pot-wash and maintain cleanliness of crockery and equipment.
• Follow nutritionist recipes to ensure healthy meals.
• Support chef in meeting dietary needs and guidelines.
• Cater to various age groups and dietary requirements.
• Prepare daily lunch and smoothies for the team.
• Complete kitchen paperwork and Due Diligence Diary daily.
• Order food supplies and manage stock rotation.
• Adhere to H&S policies and food safety standards.
• Cover and lead kitchen when the chef is absent.
