Flourish Education is recruiting a Behaviour Support Worker for a KS3/KS4 setting in Dudley, supporting pupils who may have faced challenges in mainstream education. The role emphasizes strong behaviour management and building positive relationships with young people, with no formal teaching qualification required.

Starting in October 2026 with a view to permanent in January 2027, the position is temp-perm and based in Dudley, easily commutable from surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Firm but relationship-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide behaviour support to KS3/KS4 pupils.
• Support pupils with engagement, behaviour and educational development.
• Assist in maintaining a structured, safe learning environment.
• Use consistent and effective behaviour management strategies.
• Support pupils who have experienced permanent exclusion from mainstream education.
• Build strong, positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
