Job summary

Academics is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support primary schools across Chesterfield. You will deliver lesson cover and provide tailored 1:1 intervention sessions, helping pupils reach their full potential.

The role offers flexible working options and supportive guidance from experienced consultants. Essential qualifications include A Level 4 HLTA or BA Hons in Education Studies, UK work eligibility, and Enhanced DBS readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience managing groups of primary-aged children.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• A Level 4 HLTA qualification or a BA Hons degree in Education Studies.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete safer recruitment checks in line with DFE regulations.
• Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate.

Responsibilities
