Job summary

Academics is seeking a capable HLTA for a temporary position at a Retford primary school. You will cover classes, deliver prepared lessons and support learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

A confident HLTA with Level 4 or a BA Education Studies degree is required, along with DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to commute to Retford. The role offers daily rates between £100 and £145, dependent on experience and qualifications, with potential career progression, exclusive CPD

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification (Level 4) or BA Hons Degree in Education Studies.
• Proven experience leading groups of primary-aged pupils in a classroom setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EYFS, KS1, KS2 curriculum.
• Positive, flexible and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning.
• Ability to commute to Retford.
• Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to process one.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons.
• Ensure continued progress of pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Maintain high pupil engagement using creative and adaptive methods.
