Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a confident HLTA to work across Nottingham primary schools on flexible day-to-day placements. You will deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2, lead small-group interventions and adapt teaching to meet diverse needs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate HLTA qualifications, strong classroom management, and a proactive, adaptable approach. Roles are temporary with potential longer-term opportunities and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience delivering lessons to primary-aged pupils.
• Ability to lead whole-class and small-group learning.
• Strong behaviour management in busy classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Lead targeted interventions and small-group activities.
• Adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Promote positive behaviour and engage pupils effectively.
• Work across Nottingham schools with flexible placements.
