Job summary

Academics is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to cover primary schools in Worksop on a temporary basis. The role involves delivering lessons and running 1:1 intervention sessions to help children achieve their best.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 HLTA qualification or a BA Hons in Education, strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, and the right to work in the UK. DBS checks and safer recruitment will be undertaken.

Qualifications

• Experience leading groups of primary-aged pupils.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• A Level 4 HLTA Qualification or a BA Hons Degree in Education.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo relevant safer recruitment checks as per DFE regulations.
• Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Cover lessons and provide 1:1 intervention sessions.
• Support pupils to reach their full potential.
