Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

You’ll drive a Royal Mail van around your delivery area, walk parts of your route, and ensure items reach their destination safely. Shift rates vary and you’ll be required to pass a driving assessment when you start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be flexible to short notice.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, deliver letters and parcels around your community.
• Drive your delivery round and deliver on foot parts of your route.
• Handle and deliver election materials and items in line with Royal Mail standards.
