Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of the service in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll drive a Royal Mail van and also walk sections of your route, staying active and delivering with care. Shifts vary and a UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points is required; a driving assessment will be carried out when you start.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full UK manual licence with up to 6 points.
• Good physical fitness to walk and carry loads.
• Flexible to shift patterns and changes on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of a daily route.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and walk sections of the route as needed.
• Maintain safety and service standards on every delivery day.
