Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local area. You will drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot, delivering confidently to homes and businesses.

You will need to walk long distances, handle items safely, and pass a driving assessment at start. Shifts vary; flexibility is essential to meet daily delivery needs.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps per day and lift a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, partly on foot.
• Securely deliver all items, including election materials and restricted items per standards.
• Be the face of Royal Mail in the community with excellent service.
