Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring shopping to customers’ homes with a friendly, helpful attitude. The role blends hands-on delivery with great service, independence, and a supportive team back at base.

Pay starts at £14.18/hour, rising to £15.45/hour in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum weekly hours and flexible shifts available. Responsibilities include keeping gear tidy, loading vans safely, communicating order changes, and delivering on time with a warm doorstep

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for 12+ months with <=3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to create great team spirit.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change while on the road and in store.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure it’s roadworthy and ready to deliver great service.
• Explain order changes or substitutions and offer refunds to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with warm, doorstep service.
