Job summary

Tesco is looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to meet customers at their homes. This role combines driving with customer service, in a hands-on, variable schedule with a supportive team at base.

Pay starts at 14.18 per hour, rising to 15.45 in M25 stores. Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed; some locations offer 12 hours. A valid driving licence is required and training will ensure high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months.
• No more than 3 penalty points on your licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within customers' stated time slots and at the doorstep with a friendly, professional manner.
• Load the van securely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Keep the vehicle and working area tidy and organised for efficient deliveries.
• Provide warm, natural service and handle order changes or substitutions smoothly.
• Build good relationships with customers and colleagues to maintain excellent service.
