Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to meet customers in their homes and provide friendly, reliable service. The role involves driving, loading, and delivering groceries across assigned time windows, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in some stores within the M25. A minimum of 16 hours per week is guaranteed, with some locations offering 12-hour roles.

Qualifications

• Face of Tesco on the road, delivering great service with a smile.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Be warm, welcoming and helpful to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the customer’s time slot, offering warm, natural service at the doorstep.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to keep it roadworthy.
• Explain order changes or substitutions and handle refunds to maintain a smooth experience.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to create great team spirit.
