Job summary

Tesco is hiring Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries directly to customers’ homes. You’ll be part of a hands-on, varied role with independence on the road and support from a local team.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25. Minimum 16 hours per week, with some roles starting at 12 hours. A full or partial year-round driving license (UK/EU/EEA) with up to 3 penalty points is required.

Qualifications

• Talk customers through changes and substitutions in a friendly way.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers’ homes in a timely and courteous manner.
• Load the van safely and perform pre‑trip checks.
• Keep products organized and in good condition for delivery.
• Communicate clearly with customers about order changes or substitutions.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Adapt to changing customer needs while out on the road and in store.
