Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting for Post Person with Driving across local delivery areas in the United Kingdom. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, deliver letters and parcels and walk parts of your route as required, staying active throughout the day.

This role is temporary with the potential to become permanent. A full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) and the ability to lift up to 16 kg are essential, with shifts that vary to suit business needs.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps per day and lift a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be adaptable and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by driving a Royal Mail van and walking sections of the route.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Represent Royal Mail in the community and provide excellent customer service in all conditions.
