Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible Post Person with Driving. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, driving a Royal Mail van and walking segments of your route to complete deliveries.

The role is temporary with potential to become permanent and requires a full UK driving licence and fitness for lifting bags up to 16 kg. Shifts vary (Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Late, Night) with pay rates shown for each shift.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (full, with no more than 6 points).
• Good physical fitness including long days of walking and lifting bags up to 16 kg.
• Flexible approach to shifts and team work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, combining driving and on-foot duties.
• Ensure items are delivered securely and on time in all weather conditions.
• Help maintain high levels of customer service and uphold Royal Mail standards.
