Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking motivated individuals to join as Post Person with Driving. You will deliver letters and parcels across your community, driving a Royal Mail van and occasionally delivering on foot along your route.

Expect a flexible schedule, active outdoor work, and a role that keeps the country moving. You may be asked to pass a driving assessment and handle various item types in line with standards.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; be adaptable to short notice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive a delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Deliver election materials and other items in line with business standards.
