Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll drive a round in a Royal Mail van, delivering letters and parcels and occasionally walking parts of your route to complete deliveries.

You must have a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, be physically fit to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, and be able to handle items weighing up to 16 kg. Shifts vary; Angard staffing coordinates pay and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and lift up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be flexible and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your round, in all weather, as the face of Royal Mail.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot to ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle and deliver items (including certain restricted items) in line with company standards.
