Job summary

Royal Mail is inviting enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of the service in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.

Active work environment and a job you can be proud of are just part of what we offer. This role combines driving a Royal Mail van with on-foot delivery, requires a full UK driving licence, and you must stay active throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must be flexible and adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to the community come rain or shine.
• Drive your round and complete sections on foot as required.
• Safely handle and deliver election materials and restricted items in line with standards.
