Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join our delivery teams. You will deliver letters and parcels in your local area, combining driving with on-foot delivery as part of your round.

This role offers varied shifts, outdoor work, and the chance to contribute to a trusted nationwide service. A driving licence and fitness to walk long distances are essential; training and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness: able to walk long distances and handle a 16 kg mailbag.
• Flexibility: shifts vary and require adaptability at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round, both by van driving and on foot.
• Safely deliver all items and, where required, handling election materials and restricted items.
• Represent Royal Mail in the community and provide reliable service in all weather.
