Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels across your route with a focus on reliable service and safety.

Shifts vary and you’ll drive a Royal Mail van as part of your round. The role requires walking, getting in and out of the van, and passing a driving assessment before start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; flexible and available for short-notice changes are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van as part of your round and follow route directions.
• Provide courteous, safe, and reliable service to customers in all weather conditions.
