Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels, combining van routes with on-foot checks to ensure reliable service come rain or shine.

The role emphasizes community presence, outdoor activity, and delivering election materials as required. Shifts vary, and driving is a key requirement; a driving assessment will be needed at start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route, on foot and by van.
• Deliver election materials and other items in line with Royal Mail standards.
